Biography 📚

Abdelhakim Dorbane received the Ph.D degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Lille University of Science and Technology (Polytech’Lille), France, in April 2016. His doctoral research involved the mechanical and microstructural characterization of dissimilar friction-stir welded aluminum-to-magnesium alloy sheets. Abdelhakim also has experience in research; he worked at Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ), Doha, Qatar as a Research Associate from April 2013 to July 2015, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow from November 2016 to May 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Ain Temouchent (UAT), Algeria. His current research interests include machine learning and deep learning, as well as mechanical behavior and microstructural characterization of materials. He is the author of several research papers, chapter books, and conference papers in his field of research. He served as a reviewer in several prestigious journals. He served as a technical committee member, organized special sessions, and served as a publicity co-chair in international conferences.
